Goshenn HR is a Human Resources consultancy with a passion for people development. We believe that people are an organisation’s best asset. However, we believe that HR is not just about people but about helping the business to achieve its goals. Whether private sector or not-for-profit, it’s about obtaining value for money and being accountable to shareholders or donors.

Now that COVID-19 has hit, the workplace has become more complicated and HR has been at the forefront of helping businesses to navigate this environment.

I am indeed energetic, driven and passionate about what I do. I have many interests and talents and my purpose is to use those talents to do the best I can to add value.
A Chartered member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), I am also a qualified teacher, having taught French and Spanish at secondary school level prior to moving to HR.
I am grateful to be able to utilise my skills gained in teaching in HR as much of these are transferable – developing people, supporting managers and teams, communications, well-being – all these things help organisations to succeed.
I have in worked in HR roles within the private, public and not-for-profit sectors including London Boroughs of Sutton and Merton, Atkins, EY, Unilever, PwC, CGI, and Save the Children.
My expertise lies within HR policies and processes, change management, learning and development and employment relations, ensuring that organisations build capacity to maximise productivity and reduce cost, whilst retaining employee engagement.
Outside of my main professional remit, I participate in activities including my blog on all things Lifestyle and wellbeing – #TheNodramalounge, which started as a Facebook community group; voluntary work coaching and mentoring young people; and writing and speaking engagements.
I am also a proud mother of three boys, my raison d’être.
With my drive and energy, I am able to build and maintain good relationships with my stakeholders in order to get the job done. I strongly believe that a good sense of humour, being human, and having a positive outlook is an essential ingredient for success in whatever you want to achieve in life.
